Registering
Registering with us is free, and simple, there is a link on the homepage to a simple form which will should take less than 2 minutes to complete.

On the registration page you get to specify the settings you require for your account, like comping downloads and invoice payments.

Your account will be ready to use as soon as the form has been submitted, and account settings are usually within 5 minutes of registration.

You will also receive an email containing your account details for your reference.

Please note that registrations not containing all necessary details may not be accepted.

Searching
The search feature is probably the most important part of our website, because without it, we'd all be lost in a sea of images!

Searches can be performed at any time using the top right search box which conveniently is on any page on the website.

There is also an advanced search feature, enabling you to add multiple requirements to a single search. This is accessible by using the link just under the search box itself.

You should find these tips useful when searching through our collection:

Keep it simple. - If you want a picture of a glass of white wine, don't search 'a glass of white wine', try 'white wine' instead. Generally you will get more results, and a better selection to choose from.

No prepositions! - Using words like; with, and, is, on, may diminish your search results, although we do our best to keyword to suit everyone's needs, it's better to search without. So instead of searching 'grilled breast of chicken with plum sauce', try 'grilled chicken plum sauce'.

Plurals? - If your trying to find a picture of one apple, then search 'apple', not 'apples'! That may seem obvious, but you'd be surprised!

Too busy? - Then let us do it for you! If you're very busy, or simply don't want to, then we can do the searching for you. Give us a good idea of what you're looking for, and we'll create a collection for you, ready for when you next log in!

Downloading
We know our customers want free downloads for comping & layout purposes. And that's what we give them!

We're happy to give any customer who has supplied us with their full contact details unlimited, high resolution comping downloads. There is a non-intrusive watermark, for copyright purposes. But as mentioned before, we don't limit your resolution.

When downloading images, you have a few options; you can either hit the low-res button, which will give you an image approximately 540x340px, or hit the hi-res button which downloads a comping image the size of the original file. Alternatively, you can click download options, which allows you to select a variety of options, like file type, resolution, DPI, etc.

Purchasing
Once you have taken your comps and decided which image you'd like to purchase you can easily find the image by using the numeric value that was in the comping images' filename and typing that into the search engine.

Then on the preview page (that's where it takes you after clicking a thumbnail) you can select the license you'd like to purchase (e.g. 1/16 1/8 1/2 etc) and click 'add image to lightbox'. This will take you into your lightbox, where you can make purchases and download unwatermarked.

Before you continue to the checkout, you can drop any images you no longer want quite easily by using the checkboxes to the left.

On the next page, click 'pay by invoice' and that's it! Image Purchased! Now you can download the purchased images unwatermarked at any resolution!
